नालंदा मुक्त विश्वविद्यालय के बारे में

नालंदा मुक्त विश्वविद्यालय बिहार राज्य का एकमात्र विश्वविद्यालय है जो विशेष रूप से दूरस्थ शिक्षा प्रणाली के माध्यम से शिक्षा प्रदान करने के लिए है। विश्वविद्यालय की स्थापना मार्च, 1987 में बिहार सरकार द्वारा प्रख्यापित एक अध्यादेश द्वारा की गई थी। बाद में, बिहार विधानमंडल द्वारा नालंदा मुक्त विश्वविद्यालय अधिनियम, 1995 पारित किया गया, अध्यादेश की जगह, और विश्वविद्यालय स्वचालित रूप से नए अधिनियम के अधिकार और अधिकार क्षेत्र में आ गया।

नालंदा मुक्त विश्वविद्यालय का मुख्या उद्देश्य

उन लोगों को शैक्षिक अवसर प्रदान करना जो औपचारिक शिक्षा लेने में असमर्थ हैं और अभी भी अपनी शैक्षिक योग्यता को उन्नत करना चाहते हैं और प्रिंट माध्यम (पत्राचार पाठ्यक्रम), संपर्क कार्यक्रमों, अध्ययन केंद्रों और जनसंचार माध्यमों के माध्यम से सीखने के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में ज्ञान प्राप्त करना चाहते हैं। उच्च शिक्षा के लिए नामांकन के लिए पात्रता, प्रवेश की आयु, पाठ्यक्रम की पसंद, सीखने के तरीके, परीक्षा के संचालन और कार्यक्रमों के संचालन के मामलों में लचीलापन प्रदान करना।

डिग्री और डिप्लोमा पाठ्यक्रम प्रदान करना और ज्ञान की उन्नति और प्रसार के लिए अनुसंधान का प्रावधान करना। वृद्ध लोगों, सेवाकालीन कर्मियों, गृहिणियों, दूरदराज के क्षेत्रों में रहने वाले लोगों, समाज के सामाजिक रूप से वंचित लोगों और अन्य सभी जो अपने कौशल को उन्नत करना चाहते हैं और दूरस्थ शिक्षा के माध्यम से उच्च शैक्षणिक योग्यता प्राप्त करना चाहते हैं, जैसे समूहों को विशेष सुविधाएं प्रदान करना। व्यावसायिक, साथ ही पारंपरिक पाठ्यक्रमों पर जोर देना, जिससे डिग्री और प्रमाण पत्र प्रदान किए जा सकें।

NOU General Guideline

  • For any information, guidance or help required during the period of study, a candidate may write to the Registrar (Examination), Nalanda Open University, 3rd Floor, Biscomaun Bhawan, Gandhi Maidan, Patna 800 0001, or may contact him on phone no. 2201013 between 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on any working day. The callers from outside Patna must use the STD telephone code of Patna which is 0612.
  • Detailed schedule of examination paper wise with date, and centre name will be given to every student at the time of admission in a print form, printed at the back of his/her Examination Admit Card.
  • No candidate is permitted to study, at the same time, more than one course in one session simultaneously.
  • There is no provision of improvement examination in any programme of the Nalanda Open University. As such, students need not bank to improve their performance through improvement examination.
  • The rules and regulations given in the prospectus may be amended by the University whenever necessary.
  • In any information given by the candidate is found to be wrong, the admission shall be cancelled and the charges paid shall be forfeited.
  • All controversies regarding admission and evaluation shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Patna courts.
